Yesterday our office celebrated Pi Day (3/14) with a delicious feast of pies! We had cherry, apple, and coconut cream pies, (don’t forget the ice cream!) along with a contest to see who could recite as many digits of pi as possible. Our very own Mike Doquilo was the winner and received a bottle of wine (and a sugar rush)!

Pi Day is an annual celebration of the mathematical constant π (pi). Pi Day is observed on March 14 (the 3rd month) since 3, 1, and 4 are the first three significant figures of π. Pi is the ratio of a circle’s circumference – the distance around the circle to its diameter. Another fun fact about Pi Day is that it’s Albert Einstein’s birthday!

Thank you to our wonderful team for helping us celebrate this fun day. Check out all the pictures of our delicious pies!
